That was a Hot One!

The auction was a good one but man was it hot. My brother and I stood out in the yard in the blazing sun and high temps for 4 hours hoping to get some good deals to pass along to our customers.
I managed to win some interesting pieces that can be turned into "funky furniture" that I hope will be enjoyed by many.
There was an old door there that I was going to bid on but it quickly went up to $80.00! I know now that the corner shelf I posted yesterday is a good deal at only $145.00. I don't know what the winning bidder is planning on doing with his door but I think $80.00 was way to much for him to spend. I'm cheap and I like to pass it along.
I'm going to spend today working in our wood shop... if it's not too hot. If it's above 90 I'll probably stay in my garage and try to get something done.

Searching for Materials

I'm heading out to my favorite auction today hoping to find cheap cool stuff that can be used to create our funky furniture. I have no idea what I'm looking for but I'm excited to start the hunt. I'm hoping to find something that will spark a creative idea.
This corner shelf is the latest creation of the Capt. Scrap Funky Furniture Team. It's priced at $145.00. You can check it out at our store:
